Author Biography

Dolores Guthrie has been writing short stories and poems throughout her life. Reading her novel is like travelling through her mind, which transfers into powerful storytelling of unforgettable characters of greed treachery and murder. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1932, Dolores was raised in the state of Washington. She has lived in fourteen countries As a young adult, her overwhelming passion for excitement drove her to make choices in her life that were often disheartening and dangerous. Married five times, she experienced a variety of challenges and rode an emotional roller coaster for many years. She was a cabaret singer and dancer, nightclub owner, scuba diver, snow skier, Porsche race car driver and president of three corporations. In 1979, she won the Porsche National, Women's Division, in San Diego, California. Her family and friends describe her as very loving, kind and generous. She is the mother of two, grandmother of six and great grandmother of three. She lives in Las Vegas, Nevada and enjoys writing and gardening.
