However, what there is, is a life full of interesting things to do and I have never been bored, ever. I have lived in Alaska since 1969. I am a widow. I've operated heavy equipment, cooked, been a goldsmith, a taxidermist and a Registered Guide. I've built cabins and houses, waited tables, (very briefly, something to do with a pitcher of ice water and a customer) and peeled logs, painted pictures and worked as an artist's model to buy food and clothes for my children. I've even chauffeured for a while. I have held licenses as Boiler Operator, Taxidermist, Mill Operator, Registered Hunting Guide, Fishing Guide and for Mining. Life is interesting so be prepared for anything.
